If you plan to have the journal shipped directly to the correctional facility, we recommend that you first confirm that specific facility's mailing address for inmates, along with their policy and procedure for approved items and mailing requirements.
Please note that it has been our experience that the journals are typically shipped via US mail, but during peak season deliveries may be handled by FedEx Ground. In which case, deliveries to PO Boxes (which many correctional facilities use as their mailing address) are not permissible. If you opt to purchase the journal on your own, then you may wish to consider having it shipped directly to you and then repackage it to ship to the intended recipient.
