I'm Not Forgotten is an organization established to provide incarcerated men and women with a platform in which to tell their story. The for-profit prison system, coupled with a judicial system marred by racial and class bias, has perpetuated a revolving door of modern-day slavery.
Hidden behind these oppressive walls are countless men and women who have been wrongfully accused, as well as those who have been handed down excessive sentences for non-violent offenses.
Buried even deeper still are those who have entered through the cell block doors as a child, but was brutally forced to come of age in a volatile gladiator environment -- one hell bent on destroying any remaining essence of innocence.
Our founding principles are rooted in the fundamental belief that even the men and women whose redemption songs are a tad bit grittier than most are worthy to be heard.
"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40

The Journal.
|
"I Am Not Forgotten" was inspired by a wrongfully convicted man and fueled by the strength of his family and their quest to continuously remind him that he is deeply loved and prayed for - even in the midst of all that he has endured.
However, it quickly became a springboard to not only provide him with a vessel in which to share his story, but to also serve as a platform for other incarcerated men and women to tell their stories as well - many of whom may not have the support system to love them through the terror of imprisonment. The "I Am Not Forgotten" journal also serves as an opportunity to come alongside other families who are in the midst of a similar struggle and offer support by sending journals to their loved ones on their behalf. |
The Mission.
The primary goal of the I'm Not Forgotten organization is to place a copy of the journal into the hands of as many incarcerated men and women as possible. We accomplish this through prison ministry outreach and the generous donations received from people who have fully embraced our mission.
The Outreach.
Incarcerated men and women are more than nameless assigned numbers hidden beneath the underbelly of correctional facilities, they are human-beings and our goal is to reach them wherever they are. If you know someone who is currently incarcerated in the United States, then please provide the requested information here and a journal will be sent to them on your behalf.
The Support.
Your monetary donation of any dollar amount will go a long way in helping us to illuminate the stories of men and women who are imprisoned in some of the darkest places. Help us to shine the light of hope through your generous contribution.
The I Am Not Forgotten journal for prisoners is P-R-I-C-E-L-E-S-S. I'm just in awe of this campaign."
